Trust is everywhere. It underpins our institutions, our health, and our relationships. However, experts are worried that the world is facing a trust crisis. If so much of our lives depend on trust, what could happen if trust starts to break?
Meet our guest
Tom Simpson is a Royal-Marine-turned-Oxford-Academic, currently working as an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government, at Oxford. He specialises in moral and political philosophy, with a focus on trust. He released a book on the subject in 2023, called Trust: A Philosophical Study
